The round base sticks to the rear of the centre touchscreen with a full-face 3M adhesive pad. A dual-hinge aluminum arm folds flat against the screen back, completely out of sight, then swings up over the top or around the side of the display and extends to bring your phone exactly where you want it. Sixteen built-in magnets in the leather-faced pad grip your phone the instant it touches — no clamps to squeeze, no cradle arms to fight, one hand on and off.

1. Clean the back of the touchscreen with a dry microfiber cloth — the mounting area must be smooth, dry and dust-free.
2. Peel the liner from the 3M pad on the base, press the base onto the screen back and hold firm pressure for 30 seconds. Leave it one hour before first loading the arm.
3. Unfold the arm over the top or around the side of the screen, extend it to length, and set your viewing angle with the two hinges.
4. Snap your phone onto the pad. Press the base button any time you want to rotate the arm to a new position, and fold the arm flat behind the screen when you park up.

Does it charge my phone?
No — this is a pure magnetic holder, and that is deliberate: no cables, no electronics, nothing to fail. Your phone snaps on and off in one motion, and you charge exactly as you do now, by cable or on the car's own wireless charging pad.

Will it hold a large, heavy phone?
Yes. Sixteen magnets fill the whole pad rather than a ring of four, and the leather face adds friction to the magnetic grip. Big phones — up to large-screen flagships in MagSafe cases — snap on and stay put over rough roads.

My phone isn't a MagSafe iPhone. Can I use it?
Yes. Fit any MagSafe-compatible magnetic case, or stick a slim magnetic ring to the back of your phone or case, and your phone locks onto the pad with the same snap. The mount itself works with every phone — it just needs a magnetic partner on the phone side.

BYD screens rotate. What happens to the mount?
The base is bonded to the back of the screen, so the mount travels with the display when it turns. Re-aim the arm with the press-button base and hinges after rotating, and the phone is back at your angle in seconds.

Will the 3M pad damage the screen back when removed?
The pad bonds to the smooth rear casing of the touchscreen, not the display glass. To remove the mount, warm the base gently, twist it slowly free and roll off any residue with your thumb — no tools against the screen, no marks left behind.

Does it block the screen or the air vents?
No. The base lives on the back of the screen, the folded arm hides behind it, and the phone floats beside or above the display edge — the full touchscreen and every vent stay clear and usable.
