Overview
The SEALION 7's cabin is full of piano-black and silver trim that scratches, dulls and fingerprints — pick the cover for the panel you want to transform, and it caps that panel in gloss carbon-fiber style in one peel-and-stick step.
This is a family of eight model-specific covers, one for each of the SEALION 7 interior panels owners ask about most. Every piece is molded ABS with the carbon weave printed into a glossy clear finish, shaped to the exact panel it covers — switch apertures, vent slats and selector cutouts all die-cut into the shell, so every control keeps working through the cover with nothing blocked and nothing trimmed. Choose your panel from the options, fit it in minutes, and the whole cabin starts to match.
Choose your panel — what each option covers
- Instrument outlet — $30.00: a pair of covers for the two teardrop air vents at the outer ends of the dashboard, by the A-pillars. The slatted grille design of the original vents is reproduced in the covers, so airflow and vane movement carry on exactly as before.
- Steering wheel trim — $35.00: a one-piece frame that wraps the steering wheel's central spoke panel, framing both switch clusters in carbon style. It is the piece you look at for every kilometre you drive.
- Gear shift frame — $49.00: the full center-console frame around the crystal gear selector and its surrounding touch panel. The largest, most visible piece in the range — it turns the console's whole control island into a carbon centerpiece while every touch key stays exposed and usable.
- Window Lift Switch 1 — $45.00: a four-piece set covering the window switch panel on all four doors — the driver's master panel with its full switch bank, plus the single-switch panel on each passenger door. Produced for both LHD and RHD dashboard layouts, as the photos show.
- Rear air outlet — $48.00: a multi-piece set for the rear-seat air vent at the back of the center console — the main panel, the vent frame and the two finishing plates that complete the console's rear face for your passengers.
- Middle air outlet 1 — $39.00: the long frame for the center dashboard air vents, spanning the middle of the dash in one piece with both vent apertures and the divider formed in. Shown in the photos in both LHD and RHD dashboard versions.
- Tailgate switch — $29.99: a single plate that frames the electric tailgate switch, turning a plain black button surround into a finished carbon detail.
- Front seat trim — $39.00: a pair of plates for the seat-side control panels of both front seats, covering the panel that carries the electric adjustment switches — the spot that catches shoes and seat-belt buckles every day.
Why owners fit them
- Protection first: window switch panels, the gear selector surround and seat-side panels are the most-touched, most-scratched surfaces in the cabin. The covers take the wear; the original trim underneath stays new.
- One finish across the cabin: every piece shares the same gloss carbon weave, so fitting two or three panels ties the steering wheel, console, doors and vents together in a single, deliberate design language.
- Molded, never universal: each shell is shaped for one SEALION 7 panel, with its apertures formed during molding. The gear frame follows the console's step, the vent covers reproduce the grille slats, the window panels are cut for the full switch bank — nothing is a flat sticker pretending to fit.
- Controls work straight through: switches, touch keys, vent vanes and the gear selector all operate through the die-cut openings with no change in feel or travel.
- Peel, press, done: automotive adhesive is pre-applied to the back of every piece. Clean the panel, test the position, peel the backing and press — no tools, no clips, no dismantling the trim.
Exact fitment
Fitment Guide- Vehicle: BYD SEALION 7 (also sold as Sea Lion 07 EV)
- Model years: 2024, 2025 and 2026
- Trims: all — the interior panels covered here are shared across Premium and Performance, RWD and AWD
- Steering layout: the dashboard-dependent pieces (window switch set, middle air outlet) are produced for LHD and RHD layouts — both are shown in the photos
- Sold as: one option = the cover(s) for that one panel; order several options to dress multiple panels
Fitting any piece — the same five minutes
- Wipe the panel with a clean cloth and an alcohol prep pad so the surface is free of dust, oils and interior dressing.
- Offer the cover up without peeling the backing and note how its shape keys onto the panel — each piece seats in one position only.
- Peel the adhesive backing, align the cover, and press it home, working across the whole surface with firm hand pressure.
- Give the adhesive 24 hours before washing the car or using interior cleaners on that panel; after that, clean and use the cabin exactly as normal.
Specifications
- Material: rigid molded ABS
- Finish: carbon fiber style weave under a gloss clear coat — this is a printed carbon-look finish on ABS, not a laid carbon fiber panel; you get the deep weave look with a hard, wipe-clean surface at an accessory price
- Color: black / grey carbon weave
- Attachment: pre-applied automotive adhesive tape on the back of each piece
- Care: wipe with a damp microfiber cloth; the gloss coat shrugs off fingerprints far better than the piano-black trim underneath
Frequently asked questions
Does one order cover the whole interior?
No — each option is the cover for one named panel, and the option list above tells you exactly what each one includes, piece by piece. Owners typically start with the gear shift frame or window switch set and add panels from there; every piece shares the same finish, so they combine perfectly.
How many pieces come with the Window Lift Switch option?
Four: the driver's master switch panel and one panel for each of the other three doors. The master panel is cut for the full switch bank including the mirror and lock controls, as the before-and-after photos show.
Will the covers block any switches or vents?
No. Every aperture — window switches, touch keys around the gear selector, vent slats, the tailgate button, the seat adjustment switches — is formed into the shell, so each control works through the cover with its full range of movement.
Is it real carbon fiber?
It is molded ABS with a carbon fiber style finish sealed under gloss clear coat. That construction is why the pieces can be molded to each panel's exact 3D shape — including the vent grilles and the steering wheel frame — at this price.
Left- or right-hand drive?
Both exist for the layout-dependent pieces, and the photos show the LHD and RHD versions of the window switch set and the middle air outlet frame. The panel covers that do not depend on steering position — gear frame, rear outlet, tailgate switch, seat trim, instrument outlets, steering wheel trim — are common to both.
Can the pieces be removed later?
Yes. Warm a piece gently with a hair dryer, lift it away slowly, and roll off any adhesive residue. Nothing was drilled or clipped, so the original panel underneath returns to its factory finish.
Do the vent covers change the airflow?
No. The instrument outlet covers reproduce the vent's slatted grille, and the middle and rear outlet pieces are frames around the vent apertures — the vanes keep their full adjustment and the airflow path is untouched.
