This set exists for one specific reason: the 2025 Dolphin facelift changed the bumpers, and the arches changed with them. These mud flaps are molded for the 2025+ facelift Dolphin — earlier Dolphin flaps are a different shape and a different listing.

The facelift brought a redesigned front end and a reworked rear bumper with a new lower section and light signature. Mud flaps key off exactly those panels, so this set follows the facelift car's arch and bumper contours: 4 pieces, front pair and rear pair, fixing with the arch's original screws — take the factory screws out, offer the flap up, put the screws back through it.

• The correct molding for the facelift car — most Dolphin flaps on the market are molded for the 2021–2024 car. On a 2025+ Dolphin those sit wrong against the new bumpers. This set is shaped on the facelift's arches, and the fitted photos show it on the facelift car, flush at front and rear.
• Stops sill and door spray — the Dolphin's front tires throw a fan of water and grit down the doors and along the silver sill trim. The front flaps cut it off; the rears keep the new rear bumper's lower section out of the spray line.
• Uses the car's own screws — the fitting method could not be simpler or more reversible: the flaps mount through the arch screw points that already exist, using the original screws. Nothing new is drilled into the car.
• Low-profile and factory-looking — these are neat, close-fitting flaps in matte black, proportioned for a compact hatchback. On the car they disappear into the black arch trim — protection without the rally look.

1. Match each flap to its corner — the four shapes are all different. Wipe the arch area clean.
2. Remove the arch screws at that corner, keeping them in order.
3. Offer the flap up and align its molded holes with the screw points, engaging the clip slot where fitted.
4. Refit the original screws through the flap and tighten them snug and even. Turn the front wheels to full lock for access — the wheels stay on — and repeat at all four corners.

How do I know if my Dolphin is the facelift?
Look at the bumpers. The 2025+ facelift has the redesigned front end with slimmer headlights and, at the back, the full-width light bar with the BYD badge in it and a reworked lower bumper. If your car has those, it is the facelift and this is its set. If your Dolphin is a 2021–2024 car with the earlier bumpers, you need the pre-facelift set instead — the two do not interchange, because the flaps are molded against the bumper and arch panels that changed.

Why can't I just use the cheaper 2021–2024 flaps?
Because they are molded against different panels. The facelift's new front and rear bumpers changed the arch transitions the flap has to hug; an earlier flap on a facelift car leaves gaps at exactly the edges where spray escapes. This set is the facelift molding.

Do I need any hardware that is not in the box?
No. The flaps are designed around the car's original arch screws: out, align, back in. The fixing points are molded into each flap, including the clip slot on the front pair shown in the flat-lay photo.

Will they fit the Dolphin Surf / Seagull?
No — different car, different arches. The Seagull (sold as ATTO 1 and Dolphin Mini) has its own set, listed separately. This set is only for the full-size Dolphin, facelift version.

Are they noticeable once fitted?
Barely — and that is deliberate. They sit close to the arch in matte black like the factory trim, as the fitted photos show. What you notice is what is missing afterwards: the spray stripe up the doors.

Will they handle motorway speeds and car washes?
Yes. They are screwed mechanically at the arch points, not stuck on, and the flexible PP does not flap, buzz or tear at speed. Wash the car exactly as normal.
