How to Confirm BYD Accessory Fitment Before You Order

Short answer: a vehicle name alone is not enough to confirm accessory fitment. Check the exact model family, market name, model year, EV or DM-i powertrain, body style, LHD/RHD layout and the physical installation area.

The seven-point fitment check

  1. Model family: keep SEAL, SEAL 6, SEAL 7, SEALION 7 and SEALION 6 separate.
  2. Market name: use aliases only when the product explicitly supports them.
  3. Model year: console, screen and trim shapes can change during a model cycle.
  4. Powertrain: EV and DM-i versions can differ around charging, cargo and under-hood areas.
  5. Steering side: LHD and RHD affect mats, organizers, dashboard covers and pedals.
  6. Body/configuration: Touring, sedan, SUV and pickup layouts are not interchangeable.
  7. Physical details: compare dimensions, connector, button layout, mounting points and package contents.

What photos should you compare?

Use a clear product photo that shows the actual item, not only a vehicle lifestyle image. Compare the edge shape, clips, holes, connector, fasteners and adjacent buttons with your vehicle. For key cases, compare the complete key profile and button count.

When to ask for help

If any field is missing, send the product link, model, market, year, powertrain, LHD/RHD and a photo of the installation area through our contact form. Redact personal and security-sensitive information.

Final rule

Do not install, modify or discard packaging until fitment is confirmed. Load-bearing, electrical and safety-related products may require professional review.
