The SEALION 7 runs wide tires on a tall SUV body — and throws everything they find straight up the doors, sills and rear bumper. This 4-piece mud flap set is molded for the SEALION 7's arches and stops the spray where it starts.

Front pair and rear pair, each flap shaped to its corner: the wraparound mounting flange follows the arch lip, the blade drops into the tire's spray path, and the fixing is the factory way — molded clip slots and screw points with metal U-clip nuts, so the flaps mount at the arch's own fixing points and sit completely flush.

• Protects the big painted panels — on an SUV this size, the front tires paint the front doors and sills with grit, and the rears coat the rear bumper and tailgate. Four molded flaps intercept all of it before it leaves the arch.

1. Sort the four flaps by corner — each only sits flush in its own position. Clean the arch lip and fixing area.
2. Offer the flap to the arch and engage the molded clip slots onto the arch fixing points, lining up the screw boss and holes.
3. Set the steel U-clip nut behind the mounting tab and run the screw in until the flap is pulled snug and even against the arch — the close-up photos show this fixing from the back, exactly as you will see it.
4. Turn the front wheels to full lock for working room; the wheels stay on. Repeat at all four corners and tug each flap to confirm a solid mechanical hold.

Do these fit both the Premium and the Performance?
Yes. The two trims differ in motors, wheels and interior — the wheel arches and their fixing points are the same, and the flaps are molded to those arches. RWD and AWD cars take the same set.

How are they held on — is it just clips?
It is a proper mechanical fixing: molded clip slots locate the flap on the arch, and screws driven into steel U-clip nuts lock it down. The product photos show the clip slot, the screw boss and the U-clip itself in close-up, so you can see the hardware before you order.

Will they clear speed bumps?
The blade length is sized for the SEALION 7's standard ride height, and the PP is flexible — the bend photo shows how far it gives. A touch on a steep bump flexes the flap; it does not tear it off or crack it.

Do the wheels need to come off to fit them?
No. The fitting works in the arch with the wheels on — full lock at the front gives you the access you need, and the rears are fitted from behind the arch.

Will they change how the car looks?
Only for the better. They are matte black like the factory arch cladding, follow the arch curve, and sit flush with no visible fixings from outside. Most people read them as standard equipment on the car.

What do they actually protect?
The front doors and sills from front-tire spray, the rear bumper and tailgate from rear-tire spray, and the paint in all four zones from the stone chips that ride along with it. They also cut the amount of filth thrown onto a trailer or the car behind you.
